Hi supervil, please note that this is the subscription for LTXIII, which is a different game than LT13. For LT13 subscription isn't open yet. LTXIII will be with freeciv 2.1, LT13 with 2.0.

Maho, do you have the power to uber-edit Marduk's post? I know it is not customary, but it is so out-of-date, that it may cause a lot of unneccessary commotion.

As an addition to the above :-
There seems to be two places where people are signing in for LTXIII. Here and on the sign in page. I think "9 civ fans" needs to be added to this list.
Also if people drop out of this game using the unsign button there appears to be no way for the rest of us to know this other than by counting the subscribers.

Will, in case of unreplacable idler, captains be allowed to create dummy player, controlled by them, for filling in (temporarily I hope)?

I read, many times from the
I read, many times from the moment you pointed them out. They have been written for two teams and only one question, but one is too much in this case, is not precisely answered by them. It is clearly that with these 4 idlers, jajcus gets one, and we get to the point where all teams are equal. "second" team takes next. Who will be getting third replacement ("third" team, or at we back at jajcus?), and who will be second team?
Not depending on your answer, I think we should stick to the rules for substitute bench. Now one is broken, the one that says that list is ordered by the time the entries appear on the website. Paladin should be before Pytoux. Rules are the rules - either we stick to all, or none :)

It's obvious for me, that Jajcusie will get Edrim. next Trlvs will get Pytoux, next Vonzgreds will get ThePalladin, and next Jajcusie will get operating account, let's say jajcus-takeover-1.

I think it doesn't matter if we have more idlers than members of bench. It would matter if we have longer bench than number of seats in game :).

I will not hide that it matters to me. If I get "random" player, why should not it be edrim? Clearly, the fact that someone miswritten something accidentaly is hardly the reason for anything. But, if it is enough reason for me to get thepaladin, why cannot it be edrim? Can you randomize it again? And so on...
You always behaved just and objective. But as I said, all rules, or no rules. Stick to that, and I will not say a word.

Team game
This team game is not suited to my play style. My team has expectations of me that I cannot meet. I have many obligations in real life and I would rather not burn out on Longturn playing a game where I cannot choose my own diplomacy (or science). Choosing your battles wisely is the key to surviving. I am not prepared to ruin anybody's team game by not participating as a team member. I will play again in the next 2.1 game.
