delegation in FFA rule - stupid

I think our delegation rule in FFA game is stupid - that one which says that I cannot delegate to member of game which is RIP.
I will be away for few days - and I have noone to take my delegation according to rules, because everyone I know is playing LT18 .... it's stupid, in fact I cannot use delegation in LT18.

The point of LT18 is that it hopes to be a single player game. We made a rule to ban delegation to active players because doing so makes it harder to work together.
Just a reminder in LT18 - there is no diplomacy, only a single player can win, and no delegation (to active players).

yes, but we have added some more points which makes overusing of delegation more difficult, and I think this particular rule should be removed.

See, imagine that you takes one week vacation, go to hospital or something ... game is in very early stage, cities are not defended etc... what can you do if you don't have any friend which a)doesn't play LT18, b)knows freeciv, c)has time and is contactable? In such situation you're cooked, because you will be probably eaten by your neighbour when you go back.
My only candidates to delegation is Marduk or Jajcus, because they don't play LT18, but I'm afraid that they can have no time (let's see what they will answer). I don't ask Pepeto, Book nor Lo'oris, because I'm 99% sure that they have no time.
I think it would be no harm if Edrim or You, or someone very far would control me - no way that they will overuse it to their purposes, they are probably too far.

However - I still think that rule is stupid :). (I just checked if I didn't vote "yes", and hopefully it's "no")
